Mrs Turk spent the whole in Idrija taking part into the project meeting. In the evening she was the guest of honor of the Evening of Poetry

Meeting Idrija, Slovenia
Mrs Barbara Turk, the First Lady of Slovenia,
was welcomed at Vrtec and Osnovna Sola on Wednesday 21st where she met children, head teachers and project coordinators. She showed great interest in the project activities and wormly congratulated hosts and guests on their work.

Meeting Idrija, Slovenia
Partners have planned the second year activities:
At Primary school each partner institution will create its own mascotte puppet who will visit partner schools to attend good behaviour lessons and get a good behaviour passport.

Italy, Malta and UK Sussex puppets are ready to visit their partners abroad.
Walter Wallands' Teddy Bear is leaving Sussex for Sliema, Malta.
The Italian Pierino Pozzolo going to Wallands, Sussex.
The Maltese Pippa Tikka is coming to Italy to learn table manners.
Their training stage will last 3 months.

Kindergarten Vrtec
hosted the fourth Comenius meeting from 19th to 24th October.
12 students from IC Carminati - Lonate, Italy
5 students from Isparta - Turkey
5 students from Cluj Napoca - Romania
took part into the meeting and were hosted by their Slovene twin partners.
Students attended lessons at Osnovna Sola and worked together to create the ABC of good manners. They took also part into a memorable Evening of poetry. Italian students recited the poem "Ho sceso milioni di scale" by E. Montale in Italian and English and the audience really appreciated their performance.

2nd Comenius evening
Meeting Corck, Ireland - 2nd to 6th June
During the meeting in Corck, partners pesented final products:
- Selection of stickers from the international competition (Malta)
- CD of traditional stories + lesson plans (UK - Birmingham, in progress)
- Multilinual Dictionary (Romania)
- Template for proverbs (Slovenia Os, in progress)
- Behaviourproject blogs (Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia Vrtec, UK Lewes)
- Project spots (Portugal, Italy)
Children were proud to show their work about "behaviour" and performed traditional dances and sport. They also showed great interest about Italy and asked loads of questions.

"I bambini fanno l'Europa" - the video was awarded the second prize on 9th May 2009 - during Europe day celebration in Milan. The project has been realized in collaboration with Lonate Pozzolo Nursery (via Giovanni XXIII).

Meeting Lonate Pozzolo

Our school hosted the third Comenius meeting from 31 March to 5 April.
We hosted 24 adults (Head Teachers, Deputy Head and Teachers) and 14 students from Slovenia and Romania.
The meeting was really succesful.
Partners defined final products.
Students presented activities and created the "Alphabet of good manners"
